Hayden Fein is a Tax Manager specializing in State and Local Tax at Coinbase, the leading cryptocurrency exchange in the US and a global market leader. Working remotely out of New York, he manages compliance, planning, audit defense, and tax credit and incentive opportunities across income, franchise, and indirect taxes in all 50 states. He focuses on how state and local tax rules apply to digital assets and how new regulations are interpreted and implemented across Coinbase’s business. He is responsible for modeling and communicating the tax impact of business changes, regulatory developments, and incentive programs, and works closely with internal teams and external advisors to implement strategies that shape the company’s overall position in key jurisdictions.
