Manage and control the production facility responsible for all aspects of supplied parts to civilian airlines and the ministry of defence, to run daily operations setting and monitoring KPI’s, utilising lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement methods to furthering enhance the business and it\'s ability to meet a growing demand. Head the high performance team (HPT) and control all functions within. Monitor and control all financial aspects of the facility focusing on OTR, OTC and OTD. Head the daily quality processes advising and guiding the team to meet the expectations as laid down by group. Take financial control of the business unit and ensure all targets are met. Execute the production plan in all areas under the responsibility of the role, ensure all direct reports are aware of the expectations and knowledge the targets required.Control all engineering practices and to monitor and improve where required. Mentor and guide all engineers in their daily duties to ensure complete adherence to Eatons engineering policies. Implement lean manufacturing techniques to drive improvement utilising such tools as FMEA’s, PDCA, 6 sigma, SMED and similar functions.Monitor all aspects of facilities management from building works to fixed wire testing, plan all engineering activities and control the engineers within. Ensure the business remains compliant across all areas. Ensuring minimal impact to site operations.Plan financial costings based on the current demand and ensure that these are met, where required have the ability to analyse and ensure robust recovery plans are in place. Form part of the senior leadership team and advise the business on all aspects of manufacturing and support functions and their direct I pact to the business, support in future focus and develop both the facility and the people to meet this demand
