About Peter Haumer

Dr. rer. nat. Dipl. Inform. Peter Haumer is an experienced agile software development team lead, full-stack software engineer, and senior technical staff member for IBM. He has a proven track record of developing new software products end-to-end. From developing ideas for new or extended products, working with stakeholders and partners, prototyping executable architectures, hiring, mentoring and building highly agile development teams, delivery of MVPs to highly scalable enterprise solutions to customers. Peter is also involved in client deployments serving as lab advocate as well as evangelizing solutions on conferences and through publications. He leads his projects as a full-stack software developer contributing to the implementation in all aspects of the software lifecycle from requirements, to architecture, test-driven development of code on all architectural layers as well as build, test, and deployment automation. Throughout his career he delivered successful product solutions in the domains of process modeling, process improvement, test-management, configuration management, warehousing, reporting, analytics and IDEs. Peter received his doctorate in computer science from the Technical University Aachen, Germany for basic research in the areas of requirements engineering and flexible process-integrated CASE tool architectures.
