About Hattie Steward

Hattie Steward, M.S, is excited to announce she is pursing the next step in her career as a Graphic Designer, with a particular focus on social media graphics and designing creative branding solutions. Mrs. Steward is a board member on the King County Children and Youth Advisory Board (CYAB). She was appointed by Dow Constatine former King County Executive. She has over 10 years of experience providing advocacy for youth and their families. She looks forward to collaborating with CYAB board members to advance the welfare and future of children, families, youth and young adults in King County. Mrs. Steward has a strong background in information technology and health systems management. She earned her Master of Science in Health Systems Management from the University of Baltimore. She graduated Summa Cum Laude. Mrs. Steward began her civil service career at the Veteran Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System. She held the position title of Research Health Science Specialist. During Mrs. Steward tenure she received performance awards in recognition of OUTSTANDING achievement for all elements of performance standards from 2018 to 2022. She has advance knowledge navigating the Veteran Affairs procurement and contracting system. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Hattie independently oversaw the data extraction of laboratory records across multiple VA Medical Centers for a clinical COVID-19 study. Mrs. Steward has experience interpreting data analytics and presenting the preliminary data utilizing data summary tables, charts and linear regression graphs. Mrs. Steward demonstrated her skills in designing, testing, and implementing new procedures in a variety of disciplines such as Statistical Analysis, Quantitative Data Collection and Project Management. In 2021, Mrs. Steward received a COVID-19 Award designed to recognize Employee’s efforts to successfully maintain program operations during the pandemic.
