About Heather Rivera
With 20+ years of experience in the architecture industry, I am currently the Architectural Group Lead at IPS, a global leader in engineering, architecture, and construction. I oversee the design and delivery of innovative and sustainable projects for various clients in the life science, pharma, manufacturing, and commercial sectors, ensuring high-quality and efficient outcomes that meet the needs and expectations of stakeholders.I was also the co-founder and Principal of Alden Architects, a firm that I established in 2016 with a vision to create elegant and functional spaces that enhance the quality of life and the environment. I managed the business operations, contractual agreements, staffing, and client relations of the firm, as well as the lead architect for the design and planning of diverse projects. I am passionate about mentoring and developing the next generation of architects, and I actively participate in various community and professional initiatives, such as steering committees, Boards, and Toastmasters.
