ABOUT HATEM AHMED

Mr. Ahmed is the Vice President of CSG Northern California Engineering Department responsible for the growth, business development, and operation of the design, and program management/project management, and land development services. He also serves as the project manager, contract manager/principal in charge for more than 30 clients. Prior to that, Mr. Ahmed developed business relations, manages clients, and delivers transportation programs and projects for T. Y. Lin International. Mr. Ahmed efforts resulted in the TYLI winning several transportation projects including, the BART to San Jose Design Build project for the VTA, the Hillsdale Ave /Route 101 Bridge Project for the City of San Mateo, the US 101 / University Ave IC improvements for the City of East Palo Alto, the Bay Road Improvements for the City East Palo Alto, the SR 237 / 880 Express Lanes project for VTA, and the City of Sunnyvale Safe Routes to School Project. Mr. Ahmed has assisted the California High Speed Rail Authority management team move forward 400 miles of the rail system in Northern California and the Central Valley by working with the Authority, various regulatory agencies, the program management team, and design consultants resolve issues and insure program delivery. As a Program Manager, Mr. Ahmed delivered $1.2 billion of transportation improvements to the County of Santa Clara residents through the Measure B Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority Highway Program. Mr. Ahmed managed the timely construction completion of the San Francisco International Airport $400 millions Elevated Roadways, Freeway Connectors/Ramps, and Surface Roadway Improvements Program. For the past 30 years, Mr. Ahmed has been delivering variety of transportation programs and projects to Cities, Counties, Transportation Agencies, and Caltrans throughout California.
