I began my entrepreneurial journey at age of 19 in August by establishing the first overseas office for our group in New York City. This marked the commencement of our global foray into the diamond market, initially focusing on loose diamonds. In 2003, I recognized the market\'s shifting dynamics and strategically shifted our focus towards finished jewelry. This move capitalized on increased profit margins and stability, setting a new course for our business.In 2018, I embraced innovation and pioneered the introduction of lab-grown diamonds to major retailers and brands under Dholakia Lab Grown Diamond. This initiative not only positioned our company as a frontrunner in this niche market but also highlighted our commitment to sustainability and ethical practices in the diamond industry.Today, we are one of the largest suppliers of natural and lab-grown diamond jewelry globally. Under my leadership, the company has cultivated a reputation for quality, innovation, and responsible sourcing.My vision is to steer our corporation towards unprecedented growth, aiming to become the largest diamond jewelry manufacturer in the world by 2028. We hold over 50 patents, demonstrating our role as pioneers in the industry.As a gemologist certified by the Gemological Institute of America, I have completed diamond grading, designing, and jewelry manufacturing courses. I have also participated in the GIA Global Leadership Program at Harvard Business School in 2016 and 2019.Beyond business, I actively serve on the Boards of Directors for Diamonds Do Good and Jewelers for Children, contributing to causes that promote ethical practices and support community enrichment through the jewelry industry. These activities testify to my values and dedication to making a positive impact.
