Shadow and reverse-shadow ICPs during hospital rounds, gaining insights into real-time infection control measures and protocols- Assist in epidemiological surveillance by collecting and analyzing infection-related data, learning to identify trends and potential outbreaks- Partake in multidisciplinary team meetings, focusing on how IPAC protocols are applied in collaboration with other healthcare professionals- Participate in educational sessions and workshops, helping to design and deliver training on hand hygiene, isolation protocols, amongst other IPAC concepts- Assist in IPAC audits and learn how to ensure compliance with IPAC standards, while contributing to the preparation of related reports and documentation- Conduct patient interviews and perform data analysis for a research project investigating how language barriers affect adherence to post-surgical care, with a focus on central line and cardiovascular surgery patients’ compliance with IPAC guidelines
