ABOUT HASSATOU DIALLO
Growing up in New York City, I was always fascinated with learning and gaining experiences which is why I would explore different things like volunteering at the local hospital or managing a dance group or joining my school\'s Anime club to learn more about Japanese culture. As a person that has a desire to learn I knew that going to Vandebrilt University and majoring in Medicine, Health and Society and minoring in Business, I would be able to gain experiences and transferable skills that I could implement in every aspect of my life. While at Vanderbilt, I was able to enhance my communication skills, my ability to work in a team and to gain confidence in spearheading projects. I love learning and using the privilege that comes with having a college education to help low income and underserved communities in the U.S by mentoring them, providing them with medical supplies, serving as a leader that they can look up to and provide them with the necessary resources and exposure that they lack due to the scarcity of resources.
