I’m an early-career Cybersecurity Analyst with a strong foundation in security operations, threat detection, and risk management. My experience combines hands-on exposure to security monitoring and attacker behavior with real-world application of cybersecurity practices in a business environment. Through my work with a small consulting business, I’ve supported security and risk initiatives by assessing potential vulnerabilities, improving data handling practices, and contributing to the overall protection of business and client information across cloud-based platforms. This experience has given me practical insight into how security decisions impact real operations. In addition to this experience, I’ve analyzed security alerts and studied adversary behavior using the MITRE ATT & CK framework, building a strong understanding of how threats manifest and how they can be detected and mitigated. I also bring experience in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), having conducted risk assessments, developed risk registers, and mapped security controls to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF). I’ve performed gap analyses to evaluate current-state security practices and identify areas for improvement. I’ve completed the Google Cybersecurity Certificate and am currently pursuing CompTIA Security+ to further strengthen my technical and analytical capabilities.
