Solving inverse problems in Magnetic Resonance Elastography (MRE) using advanced machine learning techniques to estimate soft tissue stiffness—an essential biomarker for early disease detection.• Developed innovative dataset generation pipelines using Finite Element Modeling (FEM) to simulate complex tissue mechanics and train AI models with high realism.• Applied the mathematics of Generative AI to tackle challenging domain adaptation problems, enabling AI models trained on simulations to generalize effectively to real-world clinical data.• Designing domain-specific priors, such as priors on damping, noise, and mechanical constraints, to guide model convergence and improve stability in physics-informed learning.• Designed and implemented cutting-edge AI and computer vision algorithms that significantly improve the quality and resolution of stiffness maps in MRE imaging.
