ABOUT HASSAN EL HAGE

I\'ve spent the last decade building products in healthcare, and it\'s still the space I find most rewarding to work in. Most of my time has been at Elevance Health, where I\'ve led product across a pretty wide surface area. Provider tools, member apps, internal platforms, AI chatbots, and everything in between. The project I\'m most proud of is Care Central, a provider portal that was in its early stages when I joined it. I took it from a bare-bones foundation and grew it into a platform used across the Elevance provider network, where providers can manage members, authorizations, claims, and referrals all in one place. Earlier in my career I was at Upwork, where I owned the enterprise reporting product, and before that at Toters, a startup in Beirut where I helped build the consumer and business platforms from the ground up. Outside of pure product work, I co-founded a nonprofit called Champs Fund focused on preventing cardiac arrest in young athletes, and I created an emergency response project with Lebanon\'s Ministry of Interior that put trained EMTs on motorcycles to reach patients before ambulances could get through traffic. I have a CS degree from the American University of Beirut and a Master\'s in Innovation from IE Business School in Madrid. I like working on problems where the technical complexity and the human stakes are both high. Healthcare has never run out of those.
