ABOUT HASIN SAMI
I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the University of California Riverside. My research interests include but not limited to- federated and distributed machine learning, information theory, inversion attacks, secure and private computing and wireless networks. I study how the adversaries can manipulate current large-scale federated learning frameworks to breach privacy of the confidential information held by the honest users. Accordingly, I focus on developing novel frameworks with provable privacy and security guarantees.
