My responsibilities include:• Driving federal and provincial policy advocacy strategy for Canada; in-person and written advocacy at all levels of government• CO2 management and business development, including capture, transmission and sequestration agreements and risk-management • Low-carbon hydrogen pricing and off-take agreements• Oversight of GHG related compliance programs (CFR, TIER, EPS, BC LCFS) and incentive programs (investment tax credits, funding programs) for existing and upcoming assets and credit transactions• Establishing CO2 programs for upcoming low carbon assets including internal capacity, processes, responsibilities and technical requirements (instrumentation, work procedures etc)• Oversight of Greenhouse gas quantification, inventories and Carbon Intensity lifecycle analysis (LCA) modelling for Canadian assets
