I lead and coach a team of test automation engineers at Sage ID, combining management responsibilities with hands-on technical contributions and security leadership. As a player-coach, I define and implement our overall testing approach, encompassing performance, security, and functional testing. I collaborate closely with product owners, development managers, and security professionals to ensure alignment with project goals.Management & Leadership- Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, conducting performance reviews and managing resource allocation- Drive continuous process improvement within the team and across the product lifecycle- Serve as Scrum Master for the product team (including test, development, and architecture)- Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases aligned with project objectives.Testing & Automation- Develop and maintain UI and API automation frameworks using C#, Selenium, RestSharp, and Postman- Conduct performance and load testing using Locust.io and JMeter- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins- Perform manual testing, defect triage, and reporting- Execute non-functional testing, including security, performance, usability, and disaster recovery.Security Champion- Serve as the primary point of contact for security-related matters- Lead threat modelling sessions for new features and services- Perform ad-hoc security testing and triage security vulnerabilities identified through DAST, SAST, dependency, and secret scanning- Liaise with the development team on remediation efforts and promote security best practices- Coordinate penetration testing with internal and external partners.Technical Skills: C#, Selenium, RestSharp, Postman, Locust.io, JMeter, Azure DevOps, Jenkins
