Inspect and report on underground MV cable and transmission line works, including design, construction, commissioning, and testing, ensuring compliance with project design & industry standards- Prepare and evaluate design specifications, material cost estimates, and timing reports for electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings (IFC), contracts and owner requirements- Supervise and inspect the installation, modification, testing, and operation of electrical systems and equipment, including MV collection systems, substation facility and transmission lines- Coordinate the preparation of turbine energization plans and manage the 100-day and 30-day energization packages for AESO and assisting with documentation for certification- Prepare wind turbine towers construction sequence and energization with the construction manager, develop MV cable usage plans and coordinate with suppliers for cost management- Manage communication with stakeholders, including project managers, clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities and track materials to ensure project progress- Prepare asset transfer documentation according to owner requirements to ensure seamless processes- Assist design engineers in researching the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of electrical networks, including substations, high voltage (240kV) transmission lines, MV (34.5kV) collection systems and wind turbines- Apply electrical theory to projects, adhering to legislation, standards, regulations and best practices (CSA, ANSI, IEC, UL, and Canadian Electrical Codes by conducting tests, inspections and overseeing quality control- Implement trackers for MV collection systems and transmission line work details, monitor materials procurement and facilitate handovers to subcontractors- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental procedures, conducting quality control checks as per the quality plan.
