ABOUT HASANUR CHOWDHURY
I am currently working as EEHW Design Engineer at Ford Motor Company, where I collaborate with the Core Electronics Hardware group to design, update, and release advanced hardware modules. My role includes hardware validation, writing detailed requirements, and implementing industry-leading analysis tools such as DFMEA, PFMEA, SCAAF, and other circuit analysis methodologies. I\'m proud to contribute to Ford\'s innovation and leadership in the global automation and automotive industries.Prior to joining Ford, I served as a Research Scientist at Nusenics, LLC, a research start-up in East Lansing, Michigan. I led the development of cutting-edge fiber-optic sensor systems, focusing on fabrication, testing, and writing proposals for the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program funded by the U.S. Department of Energy.I earned my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University in 2023, where my research focused on the design of fiber-optic Fabry-Perot interferometric sensors for precise temperature and strain measurement applications. My academic foundation is supported by a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh (2016 and 2018, respectively).Having lived in the USA since 2018 and now holding legal permanent residency, I am constantly seeking new opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.
