About Hasan Qamar
I am a Biological Sciences undergraduate on the Pre-Med track at the University of Houston–Clear Lake with a strong interest in clinical medicine and biomedical research. My experience includes NIH-style neuroscience research in addiction and withdrawal with national conference presentations (CPDD, Society for Neuroscience), a cancer genomics short course at The Jackson Laboratory, and a PRISMA-based systematic review. I have clinical exposure through medical scribing and virtual physician shadowing, along with leadership roles in Neuroscience Student Organization, Future Doctors of America, and Tri-Beta. I am seeking opportunities to deepen my patient-centered and clinical skills as I prepare for medical school.
