ABOUT HASSAN ISSA
Born in Lebanon and raised in Beirut City. I used to play professional handball as a playmaker, which greatly aided in the development of my leadership skills. My interest in Mechanical Engineering began when I was a child, when I would sit for hours watching how the heavy and lifting equipment at my grandfather\'s company worked. Also one of my habits was to dismantle toys and games in an effort to understand how and why they worked the way they did. While I succeeded at some experiments and failed at others, I was never deterred. Instead, I used the lessons I learned from failed experiments to ensure success in the next one. I have recently enrolled in a project management course and achieved certification. At the moment, my passion is slightly skewed toward project management. I have learned the following about myself through my personal and professional experiences- When I make a decision, I rely on data, but I am usually right on my instincts - When given constraints, I excel at executing tight projects - The joy I feel when I help the team succeed far outweighs my desire to win - Being a better person is something I strive for through education, refinement, and motivation - Due to my insatiable curiosity, I am constantly learning - Whenever I make decisions, I strive to make them with high quality.
