ABOUT HASAN HUSSAIN
I am a Forensic Psychology postgraduate with a strong interest in how memory, perception and bias shape decision making within the justice system. My academic work has focused on eyewitness memory and Theory of Mind, alongside broader questions of reliability and fairness in legal contexts.Alongside my studies, I have gained hands on research experience across a range of projects, including qualitative and quantitative data analysis, EEG, ECG, eye-tracking and VR-based research. I have also supported children and young people with SEMH needs and mental health difficulties, applying empathetic communication, structured interventions and safeguarding-informed practice in educational settings. In addition, I have experience teaching Psychology and Health & Social at Key Stages 4 and 5 which has strengthened my passion for teaching and for making complex psychological concepts clear, accessible and engaging.My interest in psychology is grounded not only in theory but in real world impact. I am motivated by how psychological research and education can inform better practice, policy and wellbeing across justice, education and community settings. I value collaborative working, reflective thinking and clear communication and I am keen to continue developing professionally within applied and research led psychology roles.
