Sikh Channel, the world\'s first international Sikh Broadcaster gave me an opportunity to produce and overlook production in their main studios in Birmingham.Duties consisted of making sure the playlist was on track, updating the EPG on sky as well as directing live production from the gallery.Work with the team to produce engaging television programmes for broadcast to the wide international Sikh diaspora, which are predominantly based on the principles of the Sikh faith, with some non-faith based programming, such as cooking and general entertainment shows. On the weekends, the Sikh Channel teams would be out and about around the country filming various events / content. I was part of a team that would go out to these events where we used Sony and Panasonic ENG cameras for live on site production through SDI based vision mixers and a Live U streaming server.Worked on an anti sexual grooming campaign to create awareness on the dangers of online predators. Created and ran various campaigns to raise money for charities such as the Birmingham Childrens Hospital.
