The VAC Development Lead is responsible for leading the council in the creation of the annual volunteer development plan and working with the department in order to develop an annual plan for volunteer development in consultation with the organization and the Volunteer Resources department. Also responsible to collect and analyze feedback from the volunteer population on learning objectives as well as develop training opportunities that are aimed to enhance the volunteer experience. Additional responsibilities include facilitating development opportunities for volunteers and providing feedback on an ad hoc basis on the department activities in order to ensure the volunteer experience and needs of the hospital are balanced priorities, while also working with the Director of Volunteer Resources as required• Facilitates orientation to THP Volunteer Advisory Council members.
