ABOUT HARVEY FINKELSTEIN
Dr. Harvey Finkelstein MD, a retired medical practitioner of over 30 years, is a Pain Management Specialist who received his medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine in 1981. He is also a member of the World Institute of Pain, the International Spine Interventional Society and the New York State Pain Society. After serving as the Director of Anesthesia at Central General Hospital and Plainview Hospital in Plainview, New York for 9 years, he opened his own private pain management clinic – Pain Care Medicine of Long Island – which he has owned and operated since In addition to his private practice, Dr. Harvey Finkelstein has also been an examiner for the World Institute of Pain’s Fellowship examination (FIPP) since 2009.Since retirement from clinical medicine he is enjoying his present role as a surveyor for QUAD A ( the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities)
