Lead vivarium physical plant leadership and oversight:20 years’ progressive leadership experience in research animal facilities ranging from conventional to ABSL3-Ag. Working knowledge and experience in vivarium management under European and US legislation and ISO, GLP,JCI accreditation.Group’s processes, quality and efficiency analysis and benchmarking:Using LEAN principles and 5S approach streamlined critical processes e.g. welfare registration within the vivarium minimizing non-value adding steps. Reimagined the rodent health monitoring program leading to approximately €20K annual cost savings.Streamlined hazardous materials risk assessment workflows resulting in shorter animal use protocol evaluation turn-around.Proven commitment to humane veterinary care and in-vivo research:As Attending Veterinarian (AWA, OLAW), Designated Veterinarian (ETS 123) and ECLAM Diplomate committed to the highest standards of laboratory animal use and care.
