I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, where I have delved into a wide range of psychology courses, including abnormal psychology, cognitive psychology, history of psychology, research methods, and statistics. My academic journey has provided me with a solid foundation in these key areas of psychology.Professionally, I have served as a community organizer in the Greater Toronto Area with ACORN Canada, advocating for social and economic justice. I also volunteer with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) as a Support Line Volunteer, providing crucial mental health support. Additionally, I am a dedicated women’s advocate at YWCA Hamilton, where I assist women in developing plans for safe and effective independence.My goal is to leverage the skills and knowledge acquired through my Master\'s program to become a licensed psychotherapist.
