About Harshvardhan Baldwa
As a current graduate student pursuing a Master\'s degree in Computational Science and Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, I am an enthusiastic learner with a passion for solving complex problems through advanced computational techniques. My technical background includes experience in parallel programming, high performance computing, and adaptive algorithms.I recently completed a B.Tech.+ M.Tech. project at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where I developed a fully parallel adaptive octree for fast multipole methods. This project involved implementing parallel adaptive FMM and Pseudo-particle Multipole method (PPMM) in Python, achieving a speedup of 100x on GPU using OpenCL compared to serial implementation.In addition, I have experience as a Teaching Assistant for the High Performance Computing course at Georgia Tech, and as the Technical Head for the Institute Sports Council during my undergraduate studies at IIT Bombay.
