I am an Advocate enrolled with the Jammu & Kashmir Bar Council and a member of the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu. Over the years, I have built my legal journey through persistence, hard work, and commitment to the profession. Today, I am running my own independent practice, representing clients across civil, criminal, and commercial matters before various forums in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, including subordinate courts, tribunals, and the Hon’ble High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.My career began in my penultimate year of law school in 2020, when I made a conscious decision to step into practical exposure early. I worked under senior advocates and law firms, where I was entrusted with responsibilities ranging from legal research and drafting to assisting in litigation strategy. These experiences sharpened my understanding of how cases are built and argued, and instilled in me the discipline to approach every matter with thorough preparation.From 2019 to 2024, I worked closely with different advocates and offices, gaining hands-on experience in Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) trials, consumer complaints, matrimonial disputes, negotiable instrument cases, and defamation suits. Each of these assignments allowed me to refine my skills in drafting pleadings, managing case files, and representing client interests with professionalism.In December 2024, I established my own independent practice. Taking this step was both challenging and rewarding — it required me to not only manage cases but also build client trust, strategize independently, and shoulder complete responsibility for outcomes. Since then, I have been spearheading matters end-to-end, from client consultations and evidence preparation to courtroom advocacy. This independence has strengthened my confidence as an advocate capable of handling complex and high-stakes litigation.What defines my practice is a commitment to diligence, integrity, and results. I approach each case with the belief that no detail is too small, and that preparation and strategy can turn challenges into opportunities. Having built my journey from the ground up, I take pride in being a self-sufficient advocate who can navigate high-pressure environments and handle diverse matters with professionalism and clarity.
