What I’m Doing at HPG Property Development- Supporting Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and clarity while gaining hands-on experience in real estate finance- Budget Management: Collaborating with senior accountants to track project budgets, monitor expenditures, and help ensure that developments stay within financial plans- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Managing day-to-day transactions by processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring that all financial data is recorded accurately- Learning Compliance: Engaging with Canadian accounting standards and property regulations to ensure that our financial practices meet all necessary legal requirements- Process Improvement: Actively participating in streamlining processes, such as automating routine tasks, to improve efficiency and accuracy in the finance department.
