Supervise contractors, commissioning, operations and construction teams to ensure electrical installs abide by specifications, national electrical code and state requirements • Manage client expectations by executing projects within deadlines while minimizing manufacturing and production downtime • Attend factory acceptance testing for electrical engineering equipment packages • Develop project execution plans, project schedules, methods of procedure, switching procedures, and risk management procedures • Create system operation procedure, standard maintenance procedures, electrical construction checklists and electrical commissioning checklists • Responsible for relay programming and relay commissioning of SEL and Siemens relays • Review power system studies including load flow, short circuit, protective device coordination and arc flash of the system • Improve power system reliability by performing root cause analysis techniques on system failures to identify preventative countermeasures and corrective actions • Review and modify electrical documentation including relaying one line diagrams, three line diagrams, AC schematics, DC Schematics, logic diagrams, layout drawings, grounding details
