I am a part of the real time message queuing infra team (Scribe) at Meta. Our systems currently enable upto 20TB/s of data writes and upto 70TB/s of reads. Our customers include Meta\'s revenue critical Ads traffic and ML modelling infra (Ads/Instagram/GenAI). I am involved in various components/projects including rate limiting (across traffic distributed among 14MM machines), smart quotas for critical use cases like Ads, and data quality monitoring across real time data stack (7-8 teams, 20+ services) & establishing SLOs across Scribe write path components, monitoring & guarding against AI agentic traffic.I have done decent C++ performance optimizations (eg building widely distributed library deployed across 14MM machines), a lot of investigations, proposed and executed low to medium scale (2-3 months) projects and guided a few mid level ICs.
