My role involves migrating SAP HANA calculation views to Databricks (DBX) scripts, ensuring data parity through thorough validation against HANA source systems. I design, develop, and orchestrate automated Databricks workflows across multiple job groups to enable reliable end-to-end data refreshes and faster issue resolution. I build Silver Delta tables by performing full data loads from HANA and merging Kafka-based Delta streams to support efficient incremental processing.I manage role-based access control (RBAC) for users on SAP HANA objects and migrate legacy Hadoop-based scripts to Databricks Runtime (DBR), validating performance and output consistency post-migration. Additionally, I develop and optimize transformation logic for Gold-layer tables across key business domains such as Sales, Conversion, and Expense, enabling faster and more informed business decision-making. I have also migrated Tableau reports logic into Databricks to centralize transformations, allowing Tableau to directly consume curated datasets, thereby improving performance, scalability, and data governance.
