ABOUT HARSH BHUTA
Bridging innovation and commercialisation, I\'m a product manager and chemical engineer with 10+ years of experience in manufacturing technology, process scale-up, and product development. I bring technical expertise and a strategic mindset to turn R&D breakthroughs to market-ready solutions, optimising process efficiency to drive scalability and growth across biotech, energy, and advanced materials.I am one of the co-founders of White Lotus Energies. We are exploring a novel process which mimics photosynthesis to produce green chemicals and fuels. The first molecule we are targeting is methanol. I am motivated by the challenge of progressing transformative solutions that contribute to a sustainable future. I bring a philosophy of continuous improvement to tackle complex problems. Some highlights so far include- Leading the end-to-end design and commercialisation, and subsequent product management of a novel hardware platform with 300% productivity compared to existing technologies- Developing engineering packages for multi-million pound capital projects- Designing and implementing modifications to eliminated 700 man-hours of hazardous chemical exposure and increase plant operating profit by £300K
