Hi, I’m Harsath Kumar, a graduate student at Johns Hopkins University pursuing a Master’s in Engineering Management (MEM). I’m a product-focused engineer who enjoys bridging complex technical innovation with market-driven product strategy.I bring several years of industry experience from Bosch, where I worked as a Senior Engineer on high-impact technologies such as Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engines (H2ICE). I co-led engine calibration efforts and helped mature hydrogen ICE technology by strengthening emissions performance and real world readiness. This role shaped my ability to tackle deep technical challenges while balancing global compliance, performance targets, and real-world constraints.Today, I’m expanding that technical foundation into product strategy and consulting.At the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), I architected a wedge market entry strategy for novel transparent thermoelectric technologies, identifying high-value use cases in consumer electronics, data centre’s and greenhouses.At NviGo, I lead a cross-functional team of seven to define go-to-market strategy and product roadmap for a startup focused on international student solutions.I strongly believe in an Action + Result mindset, whether mentoring junior engineers on knocking detection research, driving calibration efficiency improvements, or contributing to community-building initiatives for new hires.I thrive at the intersection of engineering depth, data-driven decision-making, and market insight, and I am currently seeking opportunities with innovative product teams where I can help build impactful, scalable solutions.I am always happy to connect and exchange ideas on clean energy, mobility, consumer electronics, or product-led growth.
