ABOUT HARRY S.

I am a Senior Operational Analyst in the aerospace sector and an Honorary Visiting Fellow at the University of Leicester. Researching in the department of History, Politics,and International Relations, I also operate as a Project Associate for the Third Nuclear Age Project. I hold a Master\'s degree in International Relations from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor\'s degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Leicester. My research specialises in nuclear and conventional military strategic theory, weapons technology, and missile defence operations. I have considerable academic research and publication experience with numerous partners in the field including UNIDIR, British Pugwash, SOAS London, CSIS and the NATO Defence College. My current research utilises modelling in simulating the effectiveness of missile defences. I have a developed aptitude for both quantitative and qualitative research methods with my previous work also having explored the effectiveness of SHORAD/CRAM systems, Theatre-level operations, as well as homeland defence. I have published and presented at multiple academic conferences on a range of related subject areas, not least including nuclear strategic theory, hypersonic delivery systems, cyber warfare, and US/Chinese conventional military strategy.
