In 1978 Mr. Arnon and his brother Josef started formulating adhesives in the basement of their home in Queens and incorporated Hernon® Manufacturing Inc. in February of that year. Hernon® was moved to a larger facility in Long Island City then an even larger building in Brooklyn until constructing a new headquarters in Sanford, Florida in 1990.
