Lead business development across the UK and Ireland, with responsibility for origination, partnerships, and project delivery. Acted as UK Country Manager until April 2025, when a General Manager role was created to lead overall operations as the team continued to expand.During my tenure as Country Manager, I oversaw major milestones including securing Recurrent’s first NSIP consent (“Mallard Pass”), running successful project sales processes totalling over 500MW, securing multiple planning consents (including the company’s first appeal-led consent), and commencing construction of Court Barton, our first UK project. Since the transition, I have continued to focus on advancing the pipeline, strengthening partnerships, and growing the Irish team and pipeline, with further projects submitted and consented.

ABOUT HARRY WILDER
I am a renewable energy professional with over a decade of experience across logistics, infrastructure, and large-scale solar PV and battery storage.Since 2016, I have focused exclusively on renewable energy, developing more than 1GW of utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects at both transmission and distribution level. My experience spans the full lifecycle — from origination, land acquisition, and grid strategy through to planning, stakeholder engagement, project sales, and progressing projects into construction. Key achievements include securing my company’s first solar NSIP consent, leading project sales processes totalling over 500MW, and advancing multiple projects through planning to build.Today, as Head of BD UK & Ireland at Recurrent Energy, I lead a growing team delivering a multi-GW pipeline of solar and storage projects. I am passionate about enabling the UK’s energy transition and building projects that are both commercially robust and sustainable.
