I joined the Crown Office Chambers Criminal Regulatory Team in 2008. I took time away from the Bar, teaching from 20••••17 at St. Peter\'s School, York and then rejoined the team in August 2017.I practice in regulatory crime, with an emphasis on Health & Safety. I also have significant experience in food safety and trading standards matters.My caseload engages a wide range of technical issues and encompasses the full range of severity of consequences, from non-causative allegations of minor breaches of regulations to multiple corporate manslaughter. My client base is corresponding wide, from employees charged with s.7 offences through to Plcs and members of their Boards.I regularly appear at Inquests in relation to a broad range of matters, but especially where it is anticipated that criminal proceedings are being considered.
