ABOUT HARRY ROBINSON

I am a Trainee Solicitor at Eversheds Sutherland, currently sat in the Commercial team in Manchester. I have recently completed my first seat in the Real Estate team, during which I gained experience in acting for both landlord and tenant clients on day-to-day property and asset management matters, assisting on large portfolio property disposals and in working on high-value portfolio corporate financing and refinancing transactions.I recently completed and passed both SQE1 and SQE2 after an intensive year studying at the University of Law.I have previous experience in short-term real estate finance but also have interests intellectual property, banking, and general commercial and corporate work.Whilst studying law at the University of York, I actively contributed to university\'s community as Vice-President of York Law Society. This role gave me good experience with leadership, organisation and networking as it allowed me to engage with legal professionals and coordinate events to provide good opportunities for my then fellow students.Post-graduation, I spent a year working in a real estate finance team, where I gained hands-on experience in short-term property finance. This role gave me great insight into the fast-paced nature of the modern legal profession whilst also giving me exposure to areas of finance and real estate, and how they intersect.Currently, I am focused on completing my Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) in the UK, a crucial step toward becoming a qualified solicitor. My upcoming training contract with Eversheds Sutherland represents a key and exciting opportunity to further develop my knowledge, work on complex legal issues, and to eventually qualify as a solicitor.
