Highly motivated and team oriented Quality Assurance/Operations support professional that has worked with multiple repair facilities across the US. I\'ve had the privilege of developing Inspection Process Training programs that have proven to be a vital tool in training Railcar inspection teams. Experience in writing quality procedures and work instructions for accuracy and ease of understanding. Previously worked as Director of Quality at Greenbrier Railcar Services. Managed the Inspection team at GATX Rail Service Center Waycross, Ga facility for 3 years of my 13 year of service with GATX advancing to hold title of Maintenance Expert. I am proficient in AAR billing, inspection, and estimating rail car repairs. Experienced in costing out all types of rail car repairs, improvements orders, fleet maintenance repairs, engineering notices and rework Impact costs. Knowledgeable of AAR & FRA regulatory requirements including AAR M-1003 Specification for Quality Assurance and M-1002 Tank car specifications as well as FRA 49CFR regulations. Highly skilled in root cause analysis problem solving resulting in effective preventive and corrective actions as well as instructing team members in the use of nonconformance reporting and investigation for Root Cause Analysis as well as various areas of process improvement. Proficient in using all types of operating and maintenance systems. I have been involved in the development of two estimating management systems and a customer spec enhancement program during my tenure with GATX. I also have a background in Industrial mechanics and industrial machining as well as metal fabrication. I have attended the BNSF National Academy of Railroad Sciences for Air Brake and Railcar Repair Track Operations. I have worked with companies such as Transisco rail, Trinity rail, GATX rail, GBW Railcar Services, Appalacian Railcar and now Greenbrier Railcar Services with 32 years of experience in Railcar Maintenance and Repair from light running repair to heavy wreck repair.
