ABOUT HARRY QUICK
As someone who is instinctively curious about the relationship that sport has with modern media, the study of sports journalism has fuelled my academic desire to learn about the industry, having recently graduated with a First Class honours degree. Progressing with this during my modules at university have allowed me to develop my interest in photojournalism, audio and video production and understanding how language is used to form an emotive and passionate response to any subject matter. Sports, in particular, plays a huge part in my life, with football being an integral part of my day to day life. I’m an avid lover of the game from the highest level down to grass roots which lead me to my first experiences within the sports media industry. I have been part of media teams for Salford City FC and Trafford FC having gained vast experience in managing social media accounts. This included maintaining Twitter and Instagram accounts that feature live score updates, post-match interviews, transfer news and video production.
