ABOUT HARRY PORTLOCK

As a Chartered Financial Planner, I have built my career around delivering high-quality advice and ensuring positive outcomes for clients and advisers alike. I have experience supporting a wide range of individuals including families, private clients and business owners, helping them navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence.Throughout my career I have developed a strong technical foundation across investments, pensions, protection, tax and trusts. I have also gained valuable experience resolving complex investment complaints, working to ensure fair and balanced outcomes for clients while maintaining the highest professional standards.Alongside advising experience, I have supported advisers through technical helplines covering tax, trusts, protection and pensions, assisting the St. James’s Place Partnership with complex queries and technical guidance. This has given me a deep understanding of the challenges advisers face and the importance of robust advice frameworks and technical support.I am now embarking on a role that brings together my experience across pre-advice, client advice and post-advice oversight. My focus is to help strengthen and enhance the advice framework that supports advisers within the Openwork Partnership, ensuring it enables advisers to deliver the best possible outcomes for their clients.As a young professional in the industry, I am driven, ambitious and committed to continuous improvement.
