Lead Network Modelling Engineer responsible for all of Northern Powergrid’s network models across the EHV, HV and LV networks. My role requires me to work across the Network Planning, Connections, Design, Innovation and DSO teams at Northern Powergrid. I am developing the businesses modelling capabilities across these teams defining the ways the teams utilise power system modelling as we work towards supporting the transition to net zero.

I am a Power Systems Engineer with an MEng Honors in Electrical and Electronic Engineer. I’ve worked across transmission and distribution systems with international experience working on whole system planning, connections and innovation projects. My focus is around delivering innovative solutions to tackle a wide variety of challenging issues faced by network operators, developers, and regulators as they work to deliver the energy transition
