Purdue University educated Civil and Environmental Engineer with 43 years of experience in the areas of potable water regulatory review and permitting, department and project management, as well as system and process design. Projects include over 100 of all types of potable water treatment facility design, instrumentation selection, control design and sequencing, and finding unique solutions for unusual and difficult problems. Two patents pending for inventions related to the treatment of ion exchange softener waste. Project manager and primary process designer on several projects which have received awards for engineering excellence including the 2015 National Grand Award for Excellence in Engineering Design from the National American Council of Engineering Companies. Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois and Indiana specializing in potable water source location and development, treatment, pumping, storage, and distribution. Thorough understanding of, and implementation of, the Recommended Standards for Water Works.
