Part of the FinOps team responsible for looking after Public Cloud Cost Management and Optimization under the DSOM SaaS (Software-As-A-Service) Business Unit.Roles and Responsibilities include:• Serving as the trusted finance advisor to the SaaS (Software-As-A-Service) Operations business group.• Monitoring Public Cloud Costs and driving cost optimization efforts with the help of Business Partners.• Supporting Business Unit Bookings, Revenue, and Expense forecasts including SaaS infrastructure costs.• Supporting business functions such as data center operations, SaaS operations, and cloud provider infrastructures.• Providing support during the annual planning cycle (Zero Based Budgeting) for BU Bookings, Revenue, and OPEX/Headcount in collaboration with BU Leaders.• Driving enhancement of functional policies, procedures, and business practices that improve efficiency and transparency within the function.• Communicating results and recommendations to management and the business supporting complex data management, analysis, and interpretation• Helping business clients understand the financial impact of their business decisions with accompanying analytics • Supporting as subject matter expert for product finance data and reporting for cross-functional business partners.• Assisting with ad-hoc analysis and data mining efforts, whenever required.• Recommending and implementing process improvements using technical solutions.• Cross-training team members.
