I founded Avonglen in 2003 after finding there was a gap in the market for flexible finance director services for ambitious and growing businesses, or those who were facing change and challenges. Together with my business partners, we built on our combined decades of experience as Chartered Accountants and then finance directors to provide a comprehensive service that went way beyond the crunching numbers of an accountancy practice. We aim to support businesses with the entire finance function, from setting the strategic direction of a company to how this impacts the commercial model right down to the hands-on accounting operations. As well as managing the business, I work directly with business owners as an outsourced finance director and support a wider team of independent finance directors to manage their own client accounts.
