Ph.D. Candidate in the Laboratory of Dr. Roxane Tussiwand, studying the role of DNA clearance in inflammation and autoimmunity.• Performed multi-color flow cytometry to quantify expression of a weakly-expressed gene-of-interest coupled to a fluorescent protein• Performed qPCR to determine the expression levels of our gene-of-interest in bulk tissue collected from different mouse models• Performed ELISA to determine antibody levels in mouse serum collected from induced autoimmune mouse models• Designed a conditional knockout mouse using CRISPR/Cas9 technology to knock in a flox site into our gene-of-interest• Generated multiple HEK293 cell lines that stably overexpress our gene-of-interest• Manage a mouse colony consisting of 300+ mice from 8 strains• Built data pipelines to handle large datasets aggregated from 20+ multi-color flow cytometry experiments• Built tools to support flow panel design and colony management visualization• Collaborated with a postdoc on using and evaluating different scRNAseq integration methods• Recipient of 2023 Office of Autoimmune Disease Research Intramural Research Award, which funded 100% of my stipend for the 2024 fiscal year. This award is only given to 7 trainees per year.
