ABOUT HARRISON WHITE

Innovative CFO | AI & Automation Enthusiast | Full-Stack DeveloperCombining accounting, AI, and coding to rethink financial processes-When I was a kid I collected Pokemon cards. Not to play or trade them.I just made tables to track their stats.I think this pushed me towards accounting. You can create order from disorder. Put things in the right boxes. After becoming a CPA, I was frustrated. Frustrated that every month/quarter/year we had to put the same things in the same boxes. So I started my own accounting practice. I was going to automate the heck out of it.This wasn\'t easy. I lacked the technical skills to build it out. When I got a CFO offer at a start-up, I jumped at it.Here I could learn how to build. And I did. I built no-code prototypes around my ideas for automation using AI.Then convinced the team to build them.I learned to code. Leading the charge as a developer on most of our AI initiatives. My next challenge was to see if I could build a full-stack application by myself. That app is called NoLedger and it\'s currently taking on users. It allows accountants and business owners to talk with their financialsThey can connect their accounting platform (Quickbooks, etc.), then immediately begin asking questions, generating reports or sending invoices. But this still feels like the start of my journey.Accounting + AI + coding feel like super-powers. The power to build.Maybe I can finally automate my old Pokemon tables.
