About Harrison Leaf

I am a Senior in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee and I\'m working towards a Bachelors of Science degree with a major in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. I have always strived to be a high achiever, and one reward for those efforts was the highest level of the Volunteer Scholarship at Tennessee, which I earned by achieving a 4.0 GPA and a 35 ACT score in high school, and have maintained by being on the deans list each semester of college. Necessity has also been made into an activator, as I am responsible for my own tuition, room, and board for my time in school. Because of this great financial burden and my goal to graduate debt free, I started my own business, doing hauling and junk removal, which has helped me take this challenge and turn it into a great experience. My goal for my career is to join a company with a great culture, and work my way up in that company by contributing the best way I can using my strengths and experiences. I am still very open to the many possibilities for what type of company I want to work for, and look forward to exploring many different opportunities. I am particularly interested in companies with opportunities to conduct business internationally, as I had a chance to visit Spain the summer after my freshman year on a mission trip, and plan on studying abroad spring 2025 to increase my proficiency in international business. I am excited to see how my leadership strengths and experiences thus far in life will come into action as I transition from being a student to having a career.
