Expected Responsibilities: • Apply actuarial methods and techniques to assess loss reserving, pricing adequacy, and potential risks for the Company. • Create and maintain reserving models for all lines. • Work with external actuaries to prepare quarterly reserve analysis. • Assist finance with IBNR and Schedule P reserves. • Examine claim trends in frequency and severity using various statistical techniques. • Assess business problems and design and perform appropriate analysis. • Work with analytics team to enhance dashboards for Executive Management. • Create, review, enhance, and maintain pricing models. • Prepare rate indications and work with the Product Manager on pricing strategies. • Create and maintain models for assessing true rate change on renewals. • Create visual representations of current reinsurance structure. • Build models to calculate net loss and limits for reinsurance. • Work with accounting team and data analysts to gather data for analysis and renewal submission.
