Ensures that energy and sustainability standards are applied throughout the managed properties. Responsible for identifying and implementing cost saving strategies & budgeting for utilities within the account (21 million sqft including High Rise Towers & five Data Centers). Coordinates energy implementation of new technologies according to energy/sustainable objectives. Develops, updates, communicates and implements energy efficiency, water efficiency standards and best in class waste & recycling processes. Manages resource initiatives for all sites/regions/portfolio. Develops, presents, justifies monthly energy & sustainability status & variance reports. Monitors, reports on energy, water use, waste diversion rates & spending trends. Engages CBRE & client energy/sustainability platform to identify & develop projects. Responsible for scope formalizing, obtaining quotes, performing project svgs analysis & obtaining project approval. Collaborates with the client platform on the implementation/management of energy & sustainability projects in a timely and accurate fashion. Provides site surveys & energy plans as appropriate. Supports activities related to the formal review & unscheduled audit of numerous Strategic Alliance Partners, and external outside service providers to ensure conformance with documented CBRE or Customer policy, procedures and guidelines. Communicates past, present, future energy plans and performance through formal presentations to account team. Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company\'s values.
